• App data you create, including favorite recipes linked to your account.
• Technical and diagnostic information needed for app reliability and security.

• To authenticate your account and keep you signed in securely.
• To save and sync your favorites across sessions/devices.
• To provide recipe features and improve app performance.
• To detect, prevent, and resolve service issues.

3. Services and Data Processors

We use Firebase services (such as Authentication and Firestore) to support account sign-in and data storage. These services may process data according to Google/Firebase terms and privacy standards.

Recipe data is provided by Spoonacular API. When you request recipe features, limited request metadata may be sent to Spoonacular.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with service providers required to operate core app features (for example Firebase and Spoonacular), and only as necessary.

5. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. When deletion is requested, we delete or anonymize personal data unless retention is required by law.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS). No internet service is 100% secure, but we continuously work to improve protection.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• You may update your account information via your Google account settings.
• You may request account/data deletion by contacting us using the email below.
• You may stop using the app at any time and uninstall it.

8. Children

Chefy AI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
